Summary
The Production Quality Supervisor is considered the Quality lead for that facility and is responsible for auditing and monitoring of all stampings, welding and assemblies, collecting data and documentation of data, he/she is also responsible for the conformance of our products to the customer requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Be able to perform hourly checks on production parts, Inspections include but not limited to SPC data collection, first piece OK and last piece off, keep Check Fixtures clean and maintained, follow inspection procedures, FMEA, Process Instructions and Control Plan. This would be as a back up to the Production Control Inspector. Assist production in the training of all new operators and the continued training of all current operators to meet Iroquois Quality goals. Reviews all External Issues related to their facility and leads the Corrective Action process. Communicates Corrective Action results with the Customer Accordingly. Insures all Inspectors are trained in his or her areas. Is the initial contact for all internal quality issues and issues between Iroquois facilities. Opens NCMR’s when applicable. Monitors sort/rework process to insure the process and all required documentation is in compliance to all Corporate Quality Objectives. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Process, and assist manufacturing in incorporating the zero defect standard in all work Other job responsibilities, not specifically listed here, that may be determined necessary by the Quality Manager. -Demonstrates through personal action, a strong commitment to disciplined adherence to process and procedures. Other Duties Ability to read and interpret blue prints. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma required; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONSING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Competency and Awareness If required, must be competent and/or aware of the B Drive within 30 days of placement (reference the general training matrix).
